The hotel has a unique atmosphere with
its heritage features blending beautifully with modern comforts. While the location is stellar, we found the lack of gym facilities surprising for the price. The staff were friendly and provided useful local recommendations.

unique experience but needs refinement
The atmosphere of the building was captivating and gave a sense of charm that's hard to find. The family room was cozy and interesting, providing a unique layout that added character to our stay. Additionally, the location was perfect for accessing nearby beaches and local eateries, making it easy to explore the area. I especially loved the lovely garden view from the common areas, which added to the overall ambiance.
The lack of extensive staff and services might not meet everyone's expectations.

Had an amazing time with friends! We loved exploring the charming area, especially the historic Victoria Hall and enjoying the local shops and restaurants. The atmosphere was unique, and the outdoor space was perfect for hanging out. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch!
We found that the restaurant was closed during our visit, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the beds weren't the most comfortable, but it was all part of the quirky vibe of the place.

Unique Experience with Warm Staff
I had a delightful stay in a Superior Queen Room, with charming, vintage decor that added to the unique feel of the place. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and local shops, making it very convenient. The warm hospitality of the staff truly made a difference, as they were accommodating and friendly. However, the beds could use some improvement for comfort.

The corner room I stayed in had beautiful windows on two walls, letting in tons of light, and I loved relaxing on the patio with live music playing. There’s also a charming garden area where you can unwind and take in the scenery. 🌼

The converted jail offers a unique experience, and the "jail cell chic" decor adds a fun twist. The location is ideal for exploring downtown and taking strolls by the water, with plenty of photo opportunities nearby. However, the lack of privacy due to an open bathroom makes it less than ideal for sharing accommodations. The shared spaces seemed neglected, and there were moments when staff were hard to find.

Perfect for families seeking nostalgia
We loved every single thing about this inn. The kids couldn't stop talking about the old jail museum in the basement, it was like they were in a movie! And let me tell you, the linens smelled just like home, not like some cheap hotel. It brought back memories of my grandpa and the times we went there.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive though, but I gotta say it was worth it.
